TL;DR
- An “order completed” email is your receipt. An invoice with a payment link means a payment is due.
- Missing an invoice? Check your spam or junk folder, then ask us to resend it.
- Not sure a payment went through? Ask. We’ll tell you what’s paid and what isn’t.
- Need our W-9? Email us, and we’ll send the current one.
Invoice or Receipt?
- Receipt: an email saying your order is completed. That payment is done.
- Invoice: an email with a link to pay. A payment is due.
- A second invoice after you paid? Let us know. If it’s a duplicate, you can ignore it, and we’ll delete it.
Can’t Find an Invoice?
Check your spam or junk folder first. Billing emails sometimes land there. Still missing? Ask us, and we’ll resend it.
How Do I Confirm a Payment Went Through?
Email us. We’ll check and send you a list of what’s paid, what isn’t, and links to pay anything still open.
How Do I Pay a Yearly Renewal?
If you pay for a service once a year and it isn’t billed automatically, we email you when it’s due, with two ways to pay:
- Online: pay by credit card on our website.
- By mail: send a check.
Where Do I Get Your W-9?
A W-9 is the IRS form that gives you our legal business name, address, and tax ID number. Your accountant may need it for your 1099 filing. Email us, and we’ll send our current W-9.
Can My Invoice Show a Specific Description?
Website projects are itemized in your proposal and contract. If your bookkeeper needs a separate invoice, we can send one.
What Webmaster For Hire Recommends
