AI Training for Small Business

AI Training
for Small Business

AI that actually works for your business.

Text Message: I live in Claude land Anything that's going to help me make life a little bit easier is huge Text message: I really do appreciate your time and energy and all the thought into this thank you so much

One hour after first three-hour training session.

YOU HAVE THE TOOL. You're Not Getting the Value.

Go beyond getting email responses and copy > paste > manual send with Safeguards.

Most small business owners hit the same wall. They open the tool, stare at a blank screen, and have no idea where to start. So they either close it and walk away, or they type something generic and copy whatever comes back.

Neither one is AI working for your business.

The ones who stuck with it ran into the next problem. No custom instructions. No way to verify what the AI produces. No safeguards to keep the output accurate and on-brand. No system built around how their business actually works.

  • No direction on what AI can realistically do for their industry
  • No custom instructions telling AI who you are or how you work
  • No methodology for verifying output before acting on it
  • No safeguards to catch hallucinations before they cause problems
  • No prompts built around your actual daily workflows

The result: generic output, wasted time, and a growing suspicion that AI isn't actually useful for your business.

The tool works. The direction and the setup don't exist yet.

A Personalized AI Operations Setup

Get more than the kid on YouTube’s quick AI generated special instructions.

When ChatGPT launched November 2022, most people called it a search engine replacement. I'd been a beta-tester for tools that others called "AI" for years before that - tools that weren't. So, when real large language models arrived, I knew immediately what I was looking at.

It felt the same way the internet did in the early days. A vast world of possibilities - and I was ready for it.

I've spent 25 years as a webmaster watching business owners get left behind by technology they didn't have time to learn. AI is the biggest version of that problem I've ever seen. Business owners have access to tools that could genuinely change how they work - and most of them are using those tools at 10% of their potential.

This training builds the setup you don't have.

Every session is built around your business, your workflows, and your actual daily tasks - not a generic template. You don't just learn the tool. You leave with it configured and running.

We talk first to confirm we're a good fit. No commitment, no payment.

Once you're onboard and paid for the first session, we start here. Before any session happens, I need to understand your business, what you're currently doing with AI, and where your time is going. That conversation shapes everything that follows.

This is the foundation. Every client starts here.

Before the session, we will:

  • Review Intake questionnaire and notes from step two
  • Create custom use cases built for your business and industry
  • Prepare prompt sets around your real workflows
  • Session plan around a live business need you bring

During the session (up to 3 hours):

  • Account setup: ChatGPT and Claude, done together - not handed off
  • Custom instructions installed and explained, not just copied in
  • Four brutal honesty prompts - so AI stops telling you what you want to hear
  • Three-question follow-up methodology for deeper, more accurate responses
  • Confidence scoring - how to know when to trust output and when to verify it
  • Multi-tool methodology: ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, and Gemini - what each does well
  • Live prompting on a real current business need you bring to the session

You leave with:

  • Accounts configured and ready to use
  • Custom instructions installed
  • A prompt library started for your specific workflows
  • Your Personalized AI Reference Guide - your tools, your prompts, your use cases. Built for your business before the session. Yours to keep.

Sessions 2 through 4 build on the foundation. Not every business needs all of them.

  • Claude Skills Setup - branded voice profile, company profile, target audience profile; AI that writes and responds in your voice
  • Batch Work - using Claude Cowork for multi-step tasks and larger projects
  • Claude Chrome Extension - AI working alongside you as you browse, research, and work

Future sessions are added as new tools are tested and validated.

What You Walk Away With

Who This Is For
(And Who It Isn’t)

This training is a good fit if:

This training is not a fit if:

Every session is built on the principle that you stay in control.

AI Should Enhance Skills. Not Replace People.

The businesses winning with AI right now moved carefully – and kept their team. They used AI to reduce friction on the work that supports the work. The judgment, the relationships, the accountability – those stayed human.

That’s the only kind of AI adoption worth building.

What People Say
Maxine L. Taylor, EA, CAA, RSSA - The Balance Sheet Inc.

“She didn’t just show me the tools – she took the time to understand my business and helped set up prompts, parameters, and systems specifically tailored to my industry. The result has been incredible. AI is now saving me hours of work every week.”

Please note: Maxine uses AI for her own internal business operations only – not for client work or client data.

Patricia H. - Beth Varian's Mother

My mother was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2023. It was eliminated. Two years later she had a new cancer diagnosis in September 2025 (This information is published with her full permission).

After her second diagnosis, I configured ChatGPT for her – custom instructions directing it to prioritize reputable medical sources, and the three-question follow-up methodology.  MOST IMPORTANTLY, I also made two things clear: AI can hallucinate, and it is not a replacement for her doctors.

In her words:

“This time around with cancer has been much more complicated. Chat has given me such good research over what I had available the first time… it’s actually proposed alternatives three different times that, with collaboration with my doctors, turned out to be better options for my medical history. In one case it resolved a health issue no doctor had been able to resolve. This happened because Elizabeth set Chat up to ask me three questions at the end of each response. One question solved this health problem, because no one thought to ask it – even me.”

“It’s been a life saver – literally.”

She also tells me she has shared her instructions with two other people navigating health issues. She figured that out on her own.

The setup and the methodology are what made the difference. Her doctors stayed in charge throughout.

No. If you can open a browser and type, you're ready. Setup starts from wherever you are.

ChatGPT and Claude as the primary tools, with guidance on Grok and Gemini. Account setup is part of what we do together - you don't need anything in place before we start.

Sessions are limited to 1-3 participants but only one computer will be worked on remotely during the session. That limit is what keeps the training focused and personalized.

We will record the session for you.

Depends on your setup. If you don't have custom instructions installed and a methodology for verifying output, there's almost certainly room to improve what you're getting from it.

Accounting and tax services, salvage and resale, and others. The methodology applies across industries because it's built around your specific business - not a generic template.

No. I train you on how to use AI tools effectively and responsibly. What AI produces after our session - and any decisions you make based on that output - is outside my control and outside my scope.

AI tools can and do make mistakes. That's part of what I teach you to manage.

No. Results depend on how consistently you use what we cover. I build the setup. You run it.

No. If I configure AI for a specific professional context - such as helping someone navigate medical information or organize legal documents - I'm training on tool use only. I'm not a doctor, attorney, or financial advisor. AI output in those areas requires your own professional judgment and, where applicable, review by a licensed professional.

Full Testimonials

“I recently spent about three hours with Elizabeth Varian of Webmaster for Hire LLC learning how to use Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools, and I honestly had no idea what I was missing.

Like many small business owners, I was a little hesitant about AI. I knew it existed, but I didn’t really understand how it could help me in my day-to-day work. What I learned from Elizabeth completely changed my perspective.

She didn’t just show me the tools—she took the time to understand my business and helped set up prompts, parameters, and systems specifically tailored to my industry. The result has been incredible. AI is now saving me hours of work every week.

What I appreciated most was that she helped me discover opportunities I didn’t even know existed. As the saying goes, “You don’t know what you don’t know.” From streamlining my internal administrative processes to developing management tools and improving how I organize my own work, AI has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for my business.

Whether you’re skeptical about AI or you’ve already started exploring it, I highly recommend spending time with Elizabeth at Webmaster for Hire, LLC. Her ability to translate complex technology into practical, real-world applications makes the investment invaluable. If you’re a business owner looking to work smarter, save time, and gain a competitive edge, this training is well worth it.”

Sincerely,
Maxine L Taylor, EA, CAA, RSSA

“I first had colorectal cancer in 2023. It was eliminated, thankfully; but had returned in September 2025. One of the frustrating and overwhelming things about cancer are all the questions I had, especially those that seem to be embarrassing  to ask.

Elizabeth installed ChatGPT on  to my computer after my second diagnosis, and I eventually installed it on my cell phone. Like most people, I didn’t really know much about AI and really had no desire to learn another new software program. But Elizabeth walked me through how to use it and even gave me the perfect dialog to put in the instructions, which controls how ChatGPT works and uses only the top medical resources for its responses.

She did warn me that AI can hallucinate on occasion, so I do correct any misunderstandings it gives me in responses. But Chat also consistently tells me to check with the appropriate doctor and not to just take its advice alone.

This time around with cancer has been much more complicated. Since I manage my own healthcare, I don’t always agree with my doctors. Chat has given me such good research over what I had available the first time with a search engine alone, that its actually proposed alternatives three different times that, with collaboration with my doctors, has turned out to be better options for my medical history, and in one case resolved a health issue no doctor had been able to resolve. This happened because Elizabeth set Chat up to ask me three questions at the end of each response. These questions made me think of things I hadn’t thought of before. One question solved this health problem, because no one thought to ask it – even me.

Just answering some of my stupid questions has given me peace of mind and more knowledge than I could get from a search engine. The information is relevant to my questions and health issues – and I don’t deal with search engine sponsored results or results from web sites that aren’t credible. Chat remembers particulars from our other chats that it brings into play in responses when needed. It’s been a life saver – literally. I’ve even given the link and a copy of my instructions dialog to two other people dealing with health issues.

Love it. And thanks to Elizabeth for convincing me to use ChatGPT, setting it up for me, and teaching me how to use it.”
