TL;DR
- Current prices are on our WordPress Support Services page.
- There are two plans, Basic and Advanced. Your type of site decides which one you need.
- Yearly billing costs less per month and includes your SSL certificate.
- A one-time setup fee covers getting your site onto our monitoring and security.
What Sets Your Monthly Cost?
- Your type of site. Basic covers a standard website with some features, like a gallery or portfolio. Advanced covers online stores, membership sites, multi-language sites, and WordPress multisite networks (several sites run from one WordPress install).
- Why Advanced costs more. Stores and membership sites take more resources to manage.
- Monthly or yearly billing. Yearly costs less per month and adds an SSL certificate (the certificate that turns on the “https” in your web address).
- How many sites. Each website needs its own plan. A multisite network counts as one, for up to 5 domains.
Is There a Setup Fee?
Yes, a one-time setup fee. It covers adding your site to our monitoring, a malware scan of your current site, and setting up security tools. Setup takes up to 2 business days after we receive your logins.
What the Monthly Cost Covers
- Hosting, if you need it.
- Daily backups and monthly updates.
- Security monitoring, plus 24-hour repair and restore if your site is hacked.

What Webmaster For Hire Recommends
- Keep the plan even when you aren’t changing your site. Attackers scan for outdated software, so updates matter even on a quiet site.
- Need content changes too? Those fall under the Webmaster Retainer, a separate monthly plan.
:: Common Questions ::
Is There a Lower-Cost Option?
Yearly billing lowers the monthly cost, and Basic is our lower-cost plan for standard websites. If a plan still isn’t in your budget, read Should I Run WordPress Updates Myself or Hire a Webmaster? before you take it on.
Can I Add More Services to My Plan?
Yes. The Webmaster Retainer, “Marketing Tasks Off Your Plate,” and business email are separate monthly services. Add them when you need them. We work as little or as much as our clients need us.
Is There a Contract?
No. There’s no minimum commitment, and you can cancel any time before your next renewal date.
