TL;DR
- We write and post it for you. Each month, you get a blog post plus a Google Business Profile update that links back to it.
- No approvals needed on our standard plan. That keeps posts from getting stuck.
- Want to see posts first? Choose the plan with approvals.
- Write your own? Send it over, and we’ll publish it.
How Monthly Blog Posting Works
Blog posting is part of our “Marketing Tasks Off Your Plate” services, along with social media posting. See Can You Take Marketing Tasks Like Social Media Posts Off My Plate? Each month we:
- We write a blog post about one of your services.
- Publish it on your website.
- Post a Google Business Profile update that links back to it. Your Google Business Profile is the listing that shows up in Google Maps and search results.
To get started, we need:
- Access to your website and your Google Business Profile.
- Up to 5 services to focus on, one per month.
- Up to 5 keywords (the words people type into Google to find businesses like yours).
- Your logo, colors, and contact details for the call to action.
Do I Have to Approve Every Post?
- Standard plan: no. Posts go up automatically, with no approvals causing delays.
- Approvals plan: yes. You review each post first, with up to 3 edit requests a month.
- If you don’t respond: we send up to three approval emails. If we don’t hear back, that post is skipped.
Writing Your Own Blog Posts
Prefer to write them yourself? Send us the post, any photos, and where it goes, and we’ll publish it. That work comes out of your Webmaster Retainer hours.
What Webmaster For Hire Recommends
- Write for people, search engines and AI. Always balance the robot visits and the human visits, especially now that AI is changing how people search.
- Don’t cut content just because it’s long. You lose keyword opportunities when you delete half a page because you think most people won’t read it.
:: Common Questions ::
Can You Review My Blog Content Plan for SEO?
Yes, as a paid consult service. We’ll look at your topics and keywords and make sure they serve both your readers and search engines. SEO (search engine optimization) is the work of helping search engines find and understand your site. See Does a Webmaster Handle SEO, or Do I Need an SEO Agency?
Are Results Guaranteed?
No. These are tasks completed on a schedule, not a marketing strategy. No one can promise traffic, rankings, or followers.
