TL;DR
- It depends on design, size, and features. Template sites cost less than custom. Online stores and memberships cost more.
- Current starting prices are in our FAQ. Your exact quote comes after a short call.
- An outdated site doesn’t always need a redesign. Smaller updates can run through a Webmaster Retainer.
- Budget for after launch too. Hosting, care, your domain, and any premium plugins keep costing money.
What Drives the Cost of a Website?
- Template or custom design. A template is a ready-made premium theme we customize with your brand, which skips the design fee and time. A custom design is a unique design for you created from scratch.
- Size. More pages and more content mean more work. A site with thousands of blog posts can cost more to move than a ten-page site.
- Features. Online stores, memberships, event booking, and connections to other tools add cost.
- Premium plugins. Paid add-ons are separate, and you buy them in your own name.
Even a template project is real work. We customize the page layouts and bring in your brand colors.
Why Does a Professional Website Cost More?
A professional build isn’t an “I know a kid” rate. Our projects cover strategy, design, development, testing, training, and 30 days of support after launch. See What’s Included in a Website Design or Redesign Project?
Refresh or Full Redesign?
- Keep your site and adjust it. If you like what you have, smaller updates can run through our Webmaster Retainer, quoted by the hour.
- Rebuild when the foundation fails. If your theme’s developer stopped updating it, newer server software can break your site. We check with the developer first. If it’s truly abandoned, a redesign is the safer path.
- Redesigns can reuse your content, so the project can start sooner.
Where Can I See Current Prices?
Starting prices for template and custom sites are in our FAQ. Your quote comes after a call about your project. See How Do I Request a Quote and Get Started With Your Services?
