ADA Accessibility Statement
Updated: March 28, 2026.
Our Commitment
Webmaster For Hire is committed to making webmasterforhire.us accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. Every person has the right to access information and services online – regardless of ability. We take that seriously.
Accessibility Standard
This website targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA – the current internationally recognized standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2 AA covers a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
What We’re Doing
We are actively working to meet and maintain WCAG 2.2 AA conformance across all pages of this newly launched site. Our ongoing accessibility efforts include:
- Using structured semantic HTML markup (proper heading hierarchy, landmark elements, labeled forms)
- Providing alternative text descriptions for images
- Using relative font sizes that work with browser text-size settings
- Ensuring color is never the only way information is communicated
- Testing with axe DevTools and WAVE – real accessibility testing tools, not just overlay widgets
- Conducting manual keyboard navigation and screen reader testing
- Remediating issues as they are identified during our current site rebuild
Accessibility Widget
This site uses the UserWay accessibility widget, which provides visitors with additional tools to adjust display settings, fonts, contrast, and other visual preferences. The widget is available via the accessibility icon on the page. It is one layer of our accessibility approach – not the whole strategy.
Conformance Status
We are currently in “active remediation”. Our site is undergoing a full rebuild, and accessibility is built into that process from the ground up – not treated as an afterthought. We use axe DevTools to audit pages systematically and address issues as each page is completed.
Some content may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. Older pages still in the rebuild queue may have issues that have not yet been addressed. We are working through the site methodically and prioritizing the most-visited pages first.
Browser Support
We test with the current versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge on both Windows and macOS.
