Yes, absolutely. In our contract, we assign full copyright of your website to you upon receipt of final payment. This gives you complete ownership of your website - the design, the content, everything. You're never locked in or dependent on us to make changes (though we're happy to help through our WordPress Support Services if you want ongoing assistance).

Our quoted prices cover the complete website build, but a few items are separate:

Annual recurring costs:

• Domain name registration ($15-30/year)
• SSL Certificate (included if you use our WordPress Support Services)
• Website hosting (included in our WordPress Support Services, or you can use your own)

Optional services:

• Ongoing WordPress Support Services ($100-$195/month or less for annual)
• "Marketing Off Your Plate" services
• Premium plugins for specialized functionality (we discuss these during discovery)
• Microsoft 365 Email & Software

Changes outside original scope:

• If project requirements change significantly after we've started
• Additional pages beyond what was quoted
• Major functionality additions mid-project

We handle all of this through our WordPress Support Services. Packages start at $100/month and include:

• All updates applied within 3 business days
• Daily automated backups

If you host elsewhere, you'll need to handle security updates yourself or hire someone to do it regularly. Ignoring updates is the #1 reason WordPress sites get hacked.

After launch, you get 30 days of post-launch support included - this covers any bugs, overlooked items, or small adjustments as you start using the site in the real world.

Training: We schedule a video conference to walk you through how to update your website (add/edit/delete content, upload images, create blog posts, etc.). This session is recorded and delivered to you for future reference.

After 30 days: You have several options:

1. Manage it yourself - you have full access and training
2. WordPress Support Services ($100-$195/month) - we handle all updates, backups, security, and hosting
3. Webmaster Services ($95-$1,500/month) - we make content updates for you as needed
4. À la carte support - contact us for individual updates at our hourly rate

Most clients choose option #2 (WordPress Support) and #3 because it's hands-off and ensures their site stays fast, secure, and current. Option #3 because they prefer just emailing their requests and know that they’ll be done without having to affect their schedules.

Template-Based ($4,500): We start with a premium theme from existing templates by other developers (you choose from our curated selection or we recommend options). We customize it to your branding - colors, fonts, logo, images, content - but you're working within the theme's existing structure and layout options. Great for clients with tighter budgets who like an existing design aesthetic.

Pros: Faster turnaround (6-8 weeks), lower cost, you can see demos before committing
Cons: Design flexibility is limited to what the theme allows

Custom Design ($5,500+, average $6,500): We design mockups specifically for your business from scratch. Every layout, every section, every detail is created uniquely for you. No template limitations.

Pros: Completely unique design, unlimited flexibility, grows with your business
Cons: Takes longer (8-12 weeks), higher investment
