# What Payment Methods Do You Accept, and Can I Pay Online?

## TL;DR

## How You Pay for Each Service

- **Monthly plans:** WordPress Support Services, the Webmaster Retainer, and "Marketing Tasks Off Your Plate" bill automatically to your card each month. WordPress Support Services can also be billed once a year.
- **One-off work:** We send an invoice after the work is done. Pay online by credit card, or mail a check.
- **Website projects:** Paid in stages, as set out in your proposal.

## Is My Credit Card Information Safe?

Your card is stored by our payment processor, the company that handles our card payments, on its own secure servers.

- **Not on our computers.** We don't keep card numbers in our files or email.
- **We ask first.** We only charge a one-off invoice to a card on file with your permission.

## How Are Website Project Payments Scheduled?

- **A deposit is due when you sign.** Work starts once we have your signed proposal and deposit.
- **The rest is due at set points,** such as design approval and launch.
- **Need to spread it out?** Ask. We've split project payments over a few months.
- **Your proposal spells out the schedule.**
